Environment
FABIO supports communities to embrace sustainable environmental practices and advocates for non-motorised transport solutions. As motorised transport and practices increasingly contributes to climate change, the program works to shift community behavior.
Through car-free days, bicycle rentals, and advocacy campaigns, FABIO mobilises policymakers and citizens to embrace sustainable transport—discover how communities can reduce their carbon footprint and reclaim their streets.
Governance
FABIO increases citizens’ participation in electoral processes while strengthening the accountability and responsiveness of duty bearers and civil servants. The program educates citizens about their rights enables them to hold leaders accountable and demand better service delivery.
Through the Strengthening Citizens’ Engagement in Elections and Public Accountability initiatives, FABIO bridges the gap between leaders and communities—discover how community engagement drives real accountability and tangible change.
