FABIO has supported 36 teenage parents by providing tailoring courses and giving them back a piece of independence.
These mothers (and fathers) often experience stigma and humiliation for becoming parents so early. Even their own families feel shame for them.
With the acquired skills in tailoring and the certificate, we want to empower them and give them a sense of pride for themselves.
A camera team accompanied FABIO for the handover function of new electric bicycles and water bicycles. The communities of Lubani, Mabira, Kiranga, Nawaguma, Nabukosi, Akola, Lumuli, Buwuma and Bubugo received 70 e-bikes in total.
